At the early stages of any project, producing a visualization can be difficult because details are often scarce. Also, putting too much detail into an image can often allow the client’s attention to be distracted away from considering the concept in its entirety. Rather than attempting to produce a photorealistic rendering of the concept, the solution is to produce a non-photorealistic (or simply ‘NPR’) artist’s impression instead. |

Piranesi’s extensive range of styles and paint effects allows you to produce exquisite NPR illustrations which demonstrate the essence of your design, in a suggestive rather than literal way. Off-the-shelf styles include traditional watercolour and Conté pencil, but Piranesi’s configurable tools make it easy to create and store your own styles. Throughout this site you’ll see examples of NPR images, created by our clients as part of their own client pitch processes. Click this Piranesi gallery link to see more.
