Piranesi Plugins
Many modellers can export direct to Piranesi EPix files and we supply a free plugin for the modellers below. Please see the readme file for details or contact us if you need help.

SketchUp™
To install this plugin, download the zip file and copy epix.rb to your SketchUp plugins folder (see readme.txt for details). When you restart SketchUp, it will have a new menu item File > Write Piranesi Epix. You also need to have Piranesi installed.
SketchUp 6, 7 and 8 (Piranesi 6 Pro required for SketchUp 8)

LightWave 3D v7.5 (Mac OS X)The classic CAM can produce artifacts in the material channel so the Shift CAM (with target) is recommended. Ensure the vertical shift value is zero and the CAM pitch is turned off, otherwise the perspective will not match.

Vedute
If your modeller does not support EPix export, our free Vedute program can convert from DXF®, 3DS, SKP, FBX® and MicroGDS® MAN files to an EPix file. Vedute is included with Piranesi.
